"Is This Thing On?" is the permanent title for
test CDs by Steve Savitzky.  All are qualified by
the date they were burned; the contents varies.






Most of the songs on this particular instance will
eventually find their way to the first *real*
album, "Coffee, Computers & Song", due out
sometime in 2005.

Some of the tracks have been remastered since
2005-01-05 (one copy of which was in the Interfilk
auction at GaFilk); "Cicero" and "Someplace in the
Net" are new.  The 03-04 edition has ink-jet
printing on the disks, which look moderately cool.

There are 10 copies of 2005-03-04; one will be
placed in the Interfilk auction at Consonance,
with a full set of lyrics.  The others will be
used for promotional purposes; none will be sold.
