The HackTown Chronicles

Seems to be where this series is headed.

(The rest of the notes and drafts are pretty badly blown given the
current state of "Lady M".)

OK, so let's think in terms of three novels/sections:

    1	HackTown Building -- the Net Wars through the Launch

    2	HackTown Rising -- the Launch through the War

    3	HackTown High -- War + 7 or thereabouts through ???
    	(maybe moving out of cis-Lunar space to Belt?)

    (Oh, help! a trilogy!)

In parallel, let's think of threads.

The idea is that the Chronicles is a hypertext; you can either go
through each thread chronologically (where applicable), or do a
chronological pass through the whole thing, or chase links all over
the place.  There are a couple of "knots" where a lot of threads come
together.  Some of these may be simply duplicated in different
threads; others may be told from several points of view.

3  A Demon in the Net

    A few notes:
    	Jake (probably) ends up with Lady M.  "Courtship" sequence.

	David ends up with Lex.  Need a rather stormy courtship
	period to make it interesting: they shouldn't hit it off at
	first.
